OriginalFake KAWS 2012 Astro Boy Companion

Following the release of the OriginalFake KAWS Companion “Resting Place” as well as their collaborative KAWS CERAMIC SNOOPY with Medicom Toy, we now get a look at the Astro Boy Companion. The product of famed Japanese cartoonist Osamu Tezuka, the resulting interpretation finds the character sheepishly covering his iconic face. The Astro Boy Companion will be available at select retailers on October 27 for ¥18,090 JPY (approximately $231 USD).

'Hounds of the Baskervilles' Tattoo & Barber Shop

Looking straight out of a movie set, the recently opened Hounds of the Baskervilles has been making waves in the media for its fearless ode to vintage barber shops during their days of glory from 1880s to 1940s.

Brick walls, wooden framed pictures and a leather sofa centerpiece gives the Hounds of the Baskervilles the necessary old-school glamor that all barber shops back then had, doubling up as men social clubs.

Just like pin-up girls and tattoos go together, the shop is also a tattoo and piercing parlour, bringing the masculinity level up another notch.
